Description

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL. intends to award, on a sole source basis, for food services for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) cadets assigned to three Field Training Units (FTU) at Ellsworth Air Force Base SD. There are 3 sessions of field training with approximately 450 AFROTC Cadets and 29 Cadet Training Assistants. The first training sessions begins on 15 May 2005. This requirement is to provide food and beverage buffet lines to ensure that 1,440 cadet trainees and cadet training assistants are given three balanced meals during three summer training sessions. Meals must be served and consumed within specific windows of time in order to meet and not negatively impact the Field Training mission. Cadets have approximately 20 – 30 minutes for meals, and must have an area to place backpacks, etc. while they are eating. All meals must be served in an indoor facility and cannot be negatively impacted by weather. The Government intends to award to Ellsworth Officer Club, 1000 Ellsworth Street, Suite 2000, Ellsworth AFB SD.
