- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation is hereby amended to include the following questions and answers: 1.) Is this a part time opportunity? Answer: Yes, each month the contractor will submit an invoice for the hours worked. As stated in the Scope of Work, it is estimated that the contractor will work 16 hours per week for 52 weeks. 2.) Are there any specific hours you expect this person to work..or whenever government wishes to summon this person? Answer: This has been "as needed" work. It sometimes involves being available for meetings but otherwise the working hours are not set. 3.) Any specific software government expects this person to know for Statistical Analysis perspective. Answer: The person should be able to work with whatever is used by a sponsor in a submission. The most common software package used is SAS, but other packages can/and are used including S-Plus, StatXact, P.E.S.T., and EaSt among others. 4.) Do you want quote on a per hour basis? Yes, as well as the number of hours expected per week or month or some other time period.
