This outreach event will be hosted by the Washington Headquarters, Williams J. Hughes Technical Center, Eastern Region, New England Region, Southern Region and Alaskan Region. When: July 31, 2005 - August 3, 2005 Where: Disney's Coronado Springs Resort 1001 West Buena Vista Drive Orlando, Florida 32830 (407) 939-1020 Theme: "FAA AND THE SMALL BUSINESS COMMUNITY: CONTINUING A TRADITION OF SUCCESS" This training conference and trade show provides small businesses knowledge on how to contract with the FAA and other federal agencies, and gives valuable information on federal procurement opportunities. The FAA is continuing to agressively reach out to the nation's small businesses by conducting more than 15 outreach panel sessions and technical workshops during the conference. Sessions will address business issues and concerns, and provide valuable information to help increase small business opportunities with the FAA and other participating agencies. Small businesses are encouraged to market their own corporate capabilities through one-on-one counseling sessions with participating federal agency representatives, and by exhibiting during the event. Large and small businesses with major government contracts will also be available to provide subcontracting opportunity information at the conference. FAA acquisition representatives from all of FAA's regions, including the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center and the William J. Hughes Technical Center, will also be available. Technical representatives from the Air Traffic Organization and the Office of Information Systems Security will also participate in the conference.
