The CECOM Acquisition Center is soliciting, on a full and open competitive basis, an acquisition for manufacturer commercial support to Nortel Networks Telephone Switch Models SL-100 and SL-1 and other associated vendor peripheral equipment at DOD locations worldwide. Specific services include system upgrades; enhancements and expansions; short and long term field service support and emergency field service support 24x7, including holidays; parts repair and return; new parts replenishment; remote diagnostics; technical data and manuals; and extended service plan. Draft and explanatory documents have been posted on The Army Single Face to Industry Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil under Solicitation Number W15P7T-05-R-H407. Estimated issuance date of final solicitation is 31 May, 2005, and responses are due 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time 30 June 2005. The contract will be a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial contract under FAR Part 12, consisting of five years and awarded to a single prime contractor. The contract ceiling for the five-year period is $177M. The contract is to be awarded by 30 August 2005. Selection for award will be on a best value basis.
