Description

The Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Office is solicitng for offers for the Arkansas Mountain Stewardship Project in Fremont County, Colorado. The purpose of the project is to provide services for fuels reduction and forest health improvement. The project is to mechanically thin a predominately ponderosa pine, Douglas fir stand, remove the merchantable products and utilize the small diameter trees for fuelwood/bioimass. A prebid site tour is offered May 31, 2005. Participants will meet at the US Post Office, Cotopaxi, Colorado at 9 am Local Time. The project encompasses approximately 99 acres. The value of the project is estimated at below $100,000.00. The solicitation will be available at ideasec.nbc.gov on or about May 15, 2005. Offers will be accepted through June 15, 2005.
