The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on 5/5/05 or 5/6/05. "TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED." The work of this contract is to replace, program and test nine Notifier AFP-200 fire alarm control panels or approved equal. Replace 159 smoke detectors in 17 barns and outbuildings with rate of rise heat detectors. Relocate two control panels from basement areas to first floor areas, and install two control panels in NEMA enclosures. Any additional lightning damaged components of these systems will require a contract modification for their replacement or component repair. This contract is subject to Davis Bacon Wage & Labor Rates. General Decision Number: PA20030016 will apply. There will be a site visit for this project on 5/24/05 at 10:00 AM. Interested parties will meet at 405 Taneytown Road, Gettysburg, PA and may contact Ken Kime at 717-334-5533 for directions. A payment bond equal to 100 percent of the cost of the project and an insurance certificate naming the Gettysburg National Military Park as the other insured will be required before work begins. The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 - $100,000.
