Description

This contract contains earthmoving, clearing & grubbing, tree stand underbrush removal and water control structures for the Preston Wilson WRP Project in Georgetown County, South Carolina. Major items of work includes; installation of approx. 60 tons of rockfill and 350 Sq Yds of geotextile for three rock fill crossings; clearing and grubbing of approx. 12 Ac for food plots; installation of approx. 40 acres of tree stand underbrush removal; installation of approx. 500 Cu Yds of earthfill and 4 inline water control structures to replace 3 culverts and to raise road fill approximately 2 feet; and construction of geocell spillway at the end of the road section. The inline water control structures require 160 LF of HDPE pipe (18? and 24? diameter). Performance time is 61 calendar days (including mobilization). The estimated price is in the range of $25,000 to $100,000. This solicitation is subject to full and open competition. The NAICS code for this project 237990. This solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about May 23, 2005. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. at the gymnasium in the old Andrews High School at North Farr Avenue in Andrews, South Carolina.
