- Project generally consists of, but is not limited to the following: 1. Furnish competent surveying resources to properly layout the subject sites and provide horizontal and vertical control. 2. Perform site preparation for the Localizer site, including: o Required grading and earthwork. o Install reinforced concrete foundation piers and pad for the Localizer antenna array. o Install Earth Electrode System (EES) at the Localizer antenna pad. o Install conduit and cabling between the Localizer antenna and the equipment shelter. o Install localizer equipment shelter (GFM) including EES and foundation. o Install ground checkpoints for the Localizer facility. o Coordinate with the utility company and install conduit and secondary power cables between the transformer and shelter. o Furnish and install all aggregate surfacing for Localizer shelter and array plots. 3. Install DEB control cable (GFM) between the new Runway 12 localizer shelter, existing Runway 30 localizer shelter and the terminal building with four field termination units (FTUs). Directional boring under runways and apron is required. 4. Perform site preparation for Non-Directional Beacon (NDB) facility at the Outer Marker Site (LOM), including: o Remove existing NDB antenna, poles and equipment building. o Required grading and earthwork. o Install Earth Electrode System (EES) under the NDB antenna. o Install concrete equipment shelter (GFM) including EES and foundation. o Coordinate with the utility company and install new conduit and secondary power cables between the existing meter and new shelter. o Furnish and install all aggregate surfacing for NDB shelter plot. o Erect antenna poles and install new antenna. o Install perimeter security fence around shelter plot. o Install aggregate access road to facility plot including installation of culvert pipe and pipe gate. 5. Accomplish other incidental duties to accommodate site peculiar conditions.
