Description

On behalf of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics)Defense Systems/Systems Engineering, the Department of the Interior, National Business Center at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona intends to solicit proposals for scientific, technical, engineering, and administrative support on a full and open competitive basis from qualified offerors. This is a follow-on requirement with the incumbent contractor being Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), contract DASW01-A-0043. The NAICS Code is 541690. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) for support to the Director, Systems Engineering is located on the NBC website at http://www.nbc.gov/solicit.html. The Government expects to have a Request for Proposal (RFP) available on the DOI/NBC website by June 15, 2005. All interested firms should refer to web address, http://ideasec.nbc.gov, to obtain an electronic copy of the RFP. The anticipated award date is on or before August 18, 2005. Questions/comments pertaining to the synopsis and/or RFP may be sent via email to Betty_E_Sebastian@nbc.gov. Copies of the RFP will only be available from the website.
