Description

The scope of the work shall consist of establishing traffic control signing and barricades on Forest Service Road 211, removal of the existing bridge rail and superstructure, modifying and preparing the existing abutments, installing riprap, supplying and installing new deck beam superstructure, installing expansion joints, completing the construction of the new roadway embankment(widening for approach rails only), installing the bridge rails and approach rails, removing the traffic control signs and the other designated signs and re-open Forest Service Road 211. The following factors will be used to evaluate the technical portion of the proposals: Past Experience, Past Performance, Key Personnel, Subcontractor Qualifications, Quality Control Plan and Schedule. The evaluation factors are in descending order of importance. The evaluation factors when combined with cost or price are approximately equal. The period of performance is approximately 150 days. A site visit will be held at 10:00 am, June 1, 2005 at the Goose Creek Bridge #211-13.4 located approximately 14 miles southwest of Deckers, Colorado, in Jefferson County.
