- NAICS Code: 541910 This request for quote is issued as a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 541910. The Size standard is $6.0 million. The Contractor shall prepare a work plan and budget. The work plan shall outline, describe, and include the technical approach, resources, time line, and due dates for the deliverables. Overall management effort of the work assignment, including planning the meeting, conference calls, monthly reports and effort associated closeout after physical completion, shall be addressed explicitly under this task. The contractor shall assist with the following: Prepare a questionnaire of at least 20 questions that captures the importance of smart growth principals that are of most importance to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. Questions should not be open-ended since they will be placed on a website and results will be automatically tabulated. Work with the Project Officer to determine 20 pilot communities to test the survey tool. Both urban and rural communities will need to be involved in the testing. Identify at least 100 communities across the United States that would be likely candidates for participating in the National Recognition Program. Work with the Aging and Smart Growth Network to solicit their input into the recognition program. Include for example: Grant-makers in aging, the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations; the Smart Growth Network; State Offices on Aging; Departments of Health and Environment. Prepare a one-page fact sheet describing the purpose and merits of the National Recognition Program. Develop a question and answer materials describing "What's in it for me from a community, aging and organizational perspective Prepare launch for the National Recognition Program for early 2006. Work with Project Officer to propose an options list of potential events that could raise awareness of the website and maximize the number of communities that agree to participate in the first year. Develop press strategy for reaching aging, health and smart growth journalists, the public and community organizations that actively engage older adults.
