NOUN: Air Seal; NSN: 2840-01-320-6432NZ; P/N: 4076459; QTY: from 5016 to 14134; U/I: Each; DELIVERY: 700 each month beginning OCT05 to Tinker AFB, OK; APPLICABLE TO: F100/200/220/229 Engine. SIZE/ DIMENSIONS: approximately 21 inches long X 4.5 inches wide X 1.5 inches thick. PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: AMS5544; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Limits the amount of exhaust gas pressure Escaping between divergent nozzle segments. Anticipated Solicitation issue date: 18NOV04. Anticipated award date: 20MAR05. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. Further information on how to become source approved may be found at www-ext.tinker.af.mil/BC/. To receive Government drawings, FEDTEDs registration is required. NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor Concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate In the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
