- Description
- The proposed contract action is for commercial software upgrade, licensing, and application support services for installed patient Kiosk located at the Air Force Academy, USAF, CO. for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Vecna Technologies is the only vendor found who can support installed and in-use Vecna IDEA proprietary software. Supplies and/or services are available from only one responsible source. No other type of supply or service will satisfy this agency requirement. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals, however interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement for the Government?s consideration. If no response is received by 19 May 2005, 04:00 PM MDT, to the effect that comparable support services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these supplies or services, through a sole source procurement with Vecna Technologies, a sole source award will be made. The NAICS is 541511. ?See Note 22?.
