Description

Provide all labor, equipment, material, transportation and supervision needed to perform custodial services at the Hale O Hookipa Visitor Contact Station, outside Kona, Hawaii. This would include customary cleaning services seven days a week, including holidays. The square footage of the visitor contact station is approximately 1,550 sq. ft. Normal work hours from 6:30am - 9:30am daily. Additional services may be required prior to special events held at the Park. Tile scrubbing and window screen cleaning to be conducted quarterly. SOLICITATION DETAILS: A contract will be awarded for the base year with the possibility of four option years. This is a best value procurement open to all responsible small business concerns. Selection for award will be based on a best value determination after considering a firm's prior experience in custodial projects similar to this in size and scope; and past performance. The NAICS code for this project is 561720 and the small business size standard is $14.0million average annual receipts for the last three years. The electronic solicitation will be available on approximately May 26, 2005, at www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov. In order to download the solicitation, interested vendors must register at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and maintain an active registration at http://www.ccr.gov. The contractor is responsible for periodically checking the website for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFP. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. PROJECT LOCATION: Kaloko Honokohau National Historic Park is located approximately 3.6 miles from Keahole International /Airport, south on Queen Kaahumanu Highway
