Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Rachel Woodard of Ridgecrest, CA for field services dealing with health evaluations of desert tortoises in the Superior-Cronese Desert Wildlife Management Area in southern California. This source is one of the few in the state who is able to take blood and nasal lavages and is the only one available during the requested period.. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the Contracting Officer.
