Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida requires a contract for the Food Services in support of Naval Air Station, Ingleside, TX. Services include providing all personnel, management and administration, and other items and services necessary to perform bulk provision storeroom inventory control, purchasing provisions, warehousing, food preparation, serving, maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, and mess attendant services. Interested small businesses must have a successful past performance record and have extensive knowledge of and experience in the area of Food Services. The period of performance will be for base year and four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 722310 (Food Service Contractors), with a size standard of $17.5M. This requirement will be set-aside for eligible 8(a) contractors. Formal source selection procedures will be utilized. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov prior to award. Bidders are notified that failure to register may render their firm ineligible for award. Release of the RFP will be via the Internet. Interested parties may download the RFP upon its issuance from the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be available on or about 24 May 05.
