- The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service intends to make an award under Commercial Items, FAR Part 12 to Corporate Executive Board under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. GSA is currently sponsoring this membership. The description of services are as follows: The Real Estate Executive Board is designed to serve senior Corporate Real Estate leaders (GSA is a member) and their staff. Research should concentrate but not limited to the strategic, organizational, and general management issues central to the portfolio of the business-focused Real Estate leaders. Emphasizes on space utilization, remote work policies. This research focuses on how companies determine space utilization levels and density targets, as well as how companies? efforts at improving space utilization. Provided best practice research grounded in detailed case studies of how leading organizations manage their real estate investments based on real data. Research will assist the General Services Administration uncover insights from exemplar real estate organizations to benchmark key capabilities with corporate peers. Services based in best practices research, executive education, peer networking, and decision support tools will be designed to develop the competencies needed to gain access to diverse organizations and to maximize the returns on research and real estate investments. Business formulas should combine shared-cost research economics and a membership-based model, providing data and insight at the quality standard of the premier strategy-consulting firms. to increase the effectiveness of executives and their enterprises by discovering and teaching the best new thinking and strategies from across industry and around the world. Matching other visualization tools to compare business demands with real estate supply. Enables identification of costly blind spots and unique sources of comparative advantage - Best practices for specific opportunities for improvement - Best practices for communicating portfolio strategies to business unit leaders. Database of benchmarks includes cost per square foot, square feet per person, cost per employee, occupancy expense as a percentage of revenue, etc. Comparisons across industries, geographies, and asset classes The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. The NAICS code is 813920. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all responses received by 12:00pm. e.s.t, Wednesday, May 18, 2005. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
