Description
This is a modification to the synopsis entitled "Consultation On IV&V Facility Approach To Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMM)Implementation", Solicatation Number NNG05111230L, which was posted on May 9, 2005. You are been notified of the following responses to questions by vendors. 1) Can you provide a more detailed list of requirements? Answer: The requirements are outlined in the following Statement of Work: Statement of Work 1. Consultation on IV&V Facility approach to Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI?) Implementation Activities include: a) Perform a gap analysis comparing the current process capability to the CMMI? requirements. b) Perform a review of existing IV&V Facility processes for the relevant process areas to include, but not be limited to procedures and policies for compliance to the CMMI? c) Review and refinement of action plans to accomplish the objectives of the NASA IV&V Facility process improvement initiative 2. Training/consultation on CMMI appraisal preparation including the development of CMMI Practice Implementation Indicator Documents (PIIDs). Activities include: a. Provide training on appraisal preparation and support including an overview of the appraisal process. b. Furnish a PIID spreadsheet and guide the NASA IV&V Facility in its compilation of PIIDs 3. Review and provide feedback on IV&V Facility provided CMMI Practice Implementation Indicator Documents. Specific process areas to be analyzed include Project Planning, Project Monitoring & Control, Supplier Agreement Management, Configuration Management, Requirements Management, Measurement & Analysis, Process & Product Quality Assurance and Risk Management. (End of Statement of Work) 2) Can you provide the size (days/hours) of the needed consulting services? Answer: The provider will propose days/hours and the government will evaluate accordingly. The period of performance will be for a period of one year. 3) Can you provide a Technical point of contact we may follow up with to learn more about the specfic needs regarding this solicitation and the nature of the services requested. Answer: All questions must be submitted in writing to the procurement point of contact. The procurement point of contact will forward the questions to the technical point of contact for response. 4) Can you provide the expected date/size of an award and the anticipated start date? Answer: The provider will propose the effort/cost estimate as part of their response. The anticipated start date is June 2005. 5) Can you provide who our response should be addressed and delivered to? Answer: Your response may be sent via email, fax or us mail. Smith, Code 210.3, Greenbelt, MD 20771. 6) Are there any constraints on the responses due on May 25th as to format (electronic or hard copy) or length or type of materials that may be submitted? Amswer: Soft copy is preferred, not to exceed 5 pages. The due date for responses is not extended. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
