Description
The purpose of this amendment to combined synopsis/solicitation HC1047-05-R-4020 is to address several questions submitted by potential offerors regarding this requirement. Question: Is the Government seeking competition for this requirement? Response: Yes. Question: Is the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, SAP, and its processes and technology being used to provide the comprehensive business management assistance? Response: GCCS-J PMO does not use ERP nor does it use SAP. Nowhere in the Performance-Based Work Statement does it state that GCCS-J uses ERP or SAP. Question: Is the ERP system SAP being used on the GCCS program? Response: No. Please see previous response above. Question: How important is it for the HubZone to have recent ACAT 1AM program office support experience? Response: Paragraph 3 of the Performance-Based Work Statement clearly states: "Direct, recent ACAT 1AM program office support experience is essential to execute this PWS." Question: Solicitation stated: Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Does this mean this is a Simplified Acquisition Procedure ($100K or less)? Response: Combined synopsis/solicitation HC1047-05-R-4020 has been prepared and posted in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. But specifically, this requirement falls under FAR Subpart 13.5 "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items." This subpart authorizes, as a test program, use of simplified procedures for the acquisition of supplies and services in amounts greater than the simplified acquisition threshold but not exceeding $5 million, including options. This requirement is expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold defined at FAR Subpart 2.1 as $100,000.00. The time and date for submission of any questions as well as the time and date for submission of proposals remains unchanged. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-MAR-2005). IT ACTUALLY APPEARED OR REAPPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 11-MAY-2005, BUT REAPPEARED IN THE FTP FEED FOR THIS POSTING DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
