Description
THE PERIOD FOR QUESTIONS IS CLOSED... Here are some additional questions and answers (final): QUESTION #1) We understand that the RFQ due date is now May 16, 2005. Given that date when do you anticipate the product demonstrations to NSF users on-site will occur? We would like to know this for planning purposes. ANSWER: It is anticipated that the product demonstrations will occur within 30 days after the proposal due date. QUESTION #2) It is our understanding that the Demonstration Script will be provided by the software vendors at the time of the NSF on-site demonstration. This does not have to be part of the response to the proposal back to NSF. Is this correct? ANSWER: This is correct. NSF will contact the software vendors after award for this information. QUESTION #3) Since the base for this RFP is just to provide software and training. Can you describe the training facilities at NSF? How many seats, are there training pc's, overhead projector etc. This information is necessary to determine the number of end user training days and if training can be held on site or not. ANSWER: NSF has two primary training facilities that each holds 16 seats, not including the trainer's workstation. It has full software training capabilities, including PCs, overhead projectors, etc. QUESTION #4) Or is it the intent of NSF to have the System Administrator and/or COTS-PMS Project Manager to perform the end user training? ANSWER: Training should be hands-on, and include train-the-trainer sessions. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-MAY-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
