- This synopsis is amendment to change the announcement to read as follows: The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Kansas University Medical Center (KUMC), Kansas City, KS 66160-7177. The purpose of this acquisition is to revise and update the 2006 On-line National Geriatric Education Centers (GEC) Resource Directory, which is hosted at KUMCs? website, on a bi-annual basis. The contractor shall coordinate the comprehensive collection, reporting, quality review, collation, compilation and incorporation of GEC curriculum and other educational material updates for the On-line GEC Resource Directory database through effective collaborations with all currently funded GEC?s. The database and methods used in this project are those developed, in existence and hosted by KUMC The specific goals of this contract are to: 1) distribute the on-line data collection form to all GECs to obtain updated information from all GECs; 2) work with the HRSA technical web staff to ensure the updated SQL database meets HRSA technical requirements and that the application continues to function as designed; 3) collate and review product information submitted by GECs, and transform product examples to meet the requirements of the GEC Resource directory developed at KUMC; 4) review information for accuracy, completion, and conciseness; 5) move information into SQL database and provide manual for GECs on entering and updating their own product information; and 6) is functional, complete, accurate and up to date. The anticipated period of performance is for one (1) year with four 12-month option periods. The statutory authority is FAR Part 6.302-1 (a) (2) and 41 USC 253(c) (1), only one responsible source, no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements without substantial duplication cost.
