Description

This Amendment to Pre-Solicitation Notice FA7000-05-R-0047 is issued to acknowledge that the solicitation will be issued as an RFQ vs. a formal RFP. Due to internal system errors, a "R" solicitation number for RFP vs. a "T" for RFQ was initiated. However, this is not accurate and this amendment is issued to correct that misconception. A letter RFP will not be issued. A SF1449 RFQ will be issued in its place. All steps and procedures are in compliance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Parts 12 and 13. This is a 100% small business set-aside. This is a name brand acquisition: FXC Corporation is the only manufacturer in compliance with the Government's requirements and specific standards [FAA regulations]. However, all small business distributors who can meet the quantity and delivery requirements are invited to submit a quote. The 98th Flying Training Squadron at USAF Academy CO has the following requirement: FXC Model 12000 Automatic Activation Device, Revision M-2, capable of accurately operating at 6000 feet Mean Sea Level and above. Qty: 250 Ea Delivery: 100 Ea delivered by May 2005. Delivery: Remaining Qty of 150 EA TBD. Partial deliveries are authorized.
