- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center is seeking qualified sources capable of manufacturing the following Propulsion Shafts: (1) Stock Number 2010-01-021-9542, used on the 41' UTB Coast Guard vessels; (2) Stock Number 2010-01-463-9116, used on the 47' MLB Coast Guard vessels; (3) Stock Number 2010-01-458-4612, used on the 49' BUSL Coast Guard vessels; and (4) Stock Number 2010-01-458-9175, used on the 87' WPB Coast Guard vessels. All Shafts shall be manufactured, tested, inspected, preserved, packaged, packed, and marked in accordance with Coast Guard Specification Number P-243-0456 dated 11/04 and Coast Guard Drawing Numbers 41UT-4301-10, Revision A, dated 14 February 1998; 47MLB-243-010 Revision M, dated 16 May 2003; 49A BUSL 243-001, Revision E, dated 23 January 2004; and 87 WPB 243-050, dated 01 December 2004. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price requirements-type contract consisting of one base year and four option years as a result of this solicitation. Delivery shall be 120 calendar days after receipt of each individual delivery order. Delivery of all shafts shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Solicitation Number HSCG40-05-B-60029 shall include all specifications and drawings required to manufacture these shafts. These documents, including the complete solicitation package shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.eps.gov) on or about June 14, 2005.
