Description

** NOTE THE VESSEL INSPECTION HAS BEEN MOVED TO MAY 23, 2005 AT 9:00 a.m.** Dockside repairs NOAA Ship Albatross IV to be performed at 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA. Performance period to commence on or about June 13, 2005, and shall be completed on or before July 1, 2005 (19 calendar days). Basic contract items include Switchboard Cleaning and Meter Calibration, Deck Washdown Pump Replacement, Valve Replacement and Piping Modifications, Upper Trawl Sheave Overhaul, Aluminum Replacement, Trawl Winch Controls and Wiring Replacement, Option Items, Miscellaneous Steel Repairs and Fluorometer Piping Removal. NOAA Ship Albatross IV will be available for inspection on May 23, 2005, 0900 at the Northeast Marine Support facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA. Appointments and arrangements for the inspection may be made by contacting the COTR at (508) 495-2347. Characteristics of NOAA Ship Albatross IV: Length Overall ? 187 ft., Beam (Molded) ? 33 ft., Propulsion ? Single screw, CPP, CAT D379 diesels, Electrical System ? 2 CAT SSDG?s 215 KW 440VAC, 3 Phase, Crew Size ? 23. This is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the Request for Quotations will only be available via this website. All interested small businesses shall download the solicitation after May 10, 2005.
