Description: The Government intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price, contract for the purchase of a surrey bus, The surrey bus is in the second lease period, with an option to buy. The contractor, A-Z Bus Sales, Inc., will apply payments made under the first lease period toward the purchase of the bus. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 485113. It would not be in the public interest to recompete this acqusition since substantial duplication of cost to the Government would be incurred that is not expected to be recovered through competition. Recompetition would also permit unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency?s requirements.
