Description

This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation for the purchase of 34 each Radio repeaters, NSN 5821-01-496-2115EW, P/N 3003596, applicable to the AAR-47 System. Delivery schedule: 180 days ARO. Ship to: 30 each to EY9688, and 4 each to FB2065. The approximate solicitation issue date is May 20, 2005, with the approximate response date of June 16, 2005. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Alliant/ATK Missile Systems, 13133, 34th Street North, Clearwater, FL, 33762, CAGE code 06424, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. See Notes 22 & 26. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 30 days of the synopsis publication date. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Late responses will not be accepted.
