- Amendment to Presolicitation Notification. This is notification that the Operation Contract Squadron will issue a solicitation on approximatley 3 June 2005 for the acquisition to provide non- personal servies for maintenance of USAF owned land mobile radio (LMR) and Giant Voice Equipment. ******************** This presolicitation is notification that the Operational Contracting Squadron (88 CONS/PKB) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, will issue a solicitation on approximately 3 June 2005 for an acqusition to provide non- personal services for maintenance for USAF owned land mobile radio (LMR) and Giant Voice equipment. Services to include maintenance, repairs, frequency/mode changes, installations, removals, etc., on equipment of any brand name, type or design at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The period of Performance for this acquisition is 01 August 2005 through 31 July 2006 and includes the provision for four one-year option periods. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is posted with this synopsis. Proposed commercial acquisition is unrestricted, full and open competition. Responding parties must indicate their business size status in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811213, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 7622 (size standard $6.0M). Businesses providing quotes shall also identify and address if they are a large, small, 8(a), woman owned, Hubzone, or otherwise classified as a small disadvantaged business in their responses. The Operational Contracting Squadron (88 CONS/PKB) will issue solicitation FA8601-05-R-0016 on or about 3 June 2005 on the PIXS web address cited below. At that time, the Request for Proposal (RFP), the FINAL Performance Work Statement (PWS), along with any additional documents shall be posted on the ASC PreAward Information Exchange System (PIXS) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, 45433, at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil on approximately 3 June 2005. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE SENT. All responsible HUBZone sources may submit a proposal and shall be considered. Facsimile or alternate proposals are not acceptable.
