Description
1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propos als are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W), in support of the Office of Secetrary of Defense, The Office of Force Transformation (OFT) is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) to support the requirement summarized below. This will be a 100% Small Bu siness Set Aside, NAICS code, 541618, size standard $6,000,000. Contract type is firm-fixed price with travel as a cost reimburseable not to exceed $7,500.00 per each period of performance. The period of performance will be for a base period of 12 months with two one-year options periods. 3. The objective of this project is to support implementation of the Education for Transformation (EFT) initiative. This will include creating plans to nurture, inspire, stimulate, and catalyze to action the Transformation Chairs that have been establish ed in the past year and to design, implement, and administer a Transformation Research Program. This program will include an application, review and approval process that will support the overall goal of creating new knowledge in the area of defense trans formation and network centric operations. 4.
