PRON: AX5F5446AX, NSN: 3020-01-163-9562, PN: 7-311310049, QUANTITY: 78 each, applicable to the AH-64 (AIRFRAME), with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This is a Small Business Set-Aside that is limited to those small businesses, wh ich are approved. This item is restricted to the approved small businesses Precision Gear INC., Cage Code 21540; The Purdy Corp., Cage Code 15152 and Northstar Aerospace (Chicago), Cage Code 22907, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Producti on Lead-time with First Article Testing is 78 each, 285 Days After contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 78 each, 190 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify them selves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. By U.S. Law, participation in Small Business Set Asides are restricted to U.S. small businesses, therefore foreign requests for this solicitation will not be honored. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which sha ll be considered by the Agency.
