- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under RFQ N00189-05-T-0304. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to award a firm fixed price contract for installation of audiovisual equipment for both new and existing equipment in two (2) training rooms located Mobile Security Squadron TWO, Bldg 14, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. The offeror(s) are required to participate in site visit to determine: (1) new equipment and/or associated parts required; (2) method of integrating existing equipment; (3) written proposal identifying material required and equipment set-up based on each room size and the best utilization of space for effective visual and sound affect; and, (4) training on use and operation of the equipment. Each interested Offeror shall contact MA1 Chapman at 967-4321 to schedule a slated time between 0900 and 1400 on Friday 20 May 2005 to walk through the spaces, inspect the existing equipment, and asked questions on use of the existing space. The rooms will not be altered or modified. Offeror are required to propose based on each room, as i! t exists. FOB: Point Destination to Norfolk, VA 23511. Required Delivery/installation completion: 10 Jun 2005. Additionally, interested Offerors shall fax, by noon Thursday 19 May 2005, the names, SSNs, birthdates and birthplaces of personnel needing access to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard to MA1 Chapman at 967-4375.
