- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-52KY-S-05-002 is issued as a Request for Quotes. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at the http://www.arnet.gov/far. This solicitation is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The associated NAICS code is 541340 and the small business size is $6 million. The following Department of Labor Wage Determinations apply to this procurement: 1994-2198 Rev 14, 1994-2194 Rev 22, 1994-2186 Rev 12, 1994-2189 Rev 18, 1994-2192 Rev 16, and 1994-2420 Rev 17. The full text of the above wage determinations may be obtained at www.wdol.gov The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) announces a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Soil Compilation and Digitization in five counties in Indiana. Work will consist of rectifying soil maps as published in the Soil Survey of Putnam County, Fayette and Union Counties, Madison County, and Morgan County, Indiana, published on an uncontrolled aerial photo based map image, to match orthophoto base map images in preparation for digitizing. Multiple contracts may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. When submitting a response, indicate the counties in which you have an interest. The Government contemplates the award of one to four, Firm Fixed Price type of contracts resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation. ACCURACY Orthorectified lines need to be within 3 meters of orthophotography for 95 percent of photo identifiable points. Orthorectified data need to match culture features, water bodies, and county boundary on ortho photography within 3 meters. QUALITY CONTROL Contractor to perform quality control on all work to ensure accuracy standards are met. DELIVERABLES BACK TO NRCS: PUTNAM CO.
