Description

Rental of one high-wing multi-engine aircraft to support the NOAA Environmental Technology Laboratory in an aerial fishery survey in the Aleutian Chain of Alaska. Surveys will be flown at an altitude of 1000 feet MSL. Flight will be made daily when weather allows. Start date is June 5, 2005 and will end June 21, 2005. Aircraft will be equipped beyond Part 135 requirements with GPS with data port, belly camera port for use with a NOAA Fish Lidar installation, seat facing equipment rack containing the Lidar equipment, 1500 watt power hook-up for the Lidar equipment, and a desk for laptop computer at rear of seating location. Vendor must have an Aircraft Rental Agreement (ARA) with Alaska Regional Office of Aviation Management. Pilot and aircraft will be endorsed for precision reconnaissance.
