Description
The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Net-Centric Services Branch, Hardware/Software Section (DITCO/PL8231), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to World Wide Technologies, 127 Weldon Parkway, Maryland Heights, MO 63043-3101. This acquisition is to provide secure centralized warehouse management/logistics for the GCCS-AF Program Office. This will support the near instantaneous deployment of previously purchased equipment to be used in support of the war fighting actions essential to the National Command Authorities. Period of performance is through August 01, 2005. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(2),6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. Companies who can provide the above listed effort must request a copy of the RFQ not later than COB 25 May 2005 via the following address: lori.dall@disa.mil. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered. The NAICS code is 493110 for this procurement. The previously purchased equipment for which the centralized warehouse management/logistics support is provided was competed. The follow-on effort, consisting of 1 basic and 2 option years, for future equipment and centralized warehouse management logistics support will also be competed in the near future. In accordance with an Air Force Mandate, this follow-on effort will be competed under the NETCENTS contract.
