- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service located in Santa Cruz, CA intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Oregon State University to provide services to complete the final year of a research project entitled Spatial Variability of Growth in Yelloweye Rockfish. The Oregon State University research team has very successfully developed a unique multi-decadal rockfish growth chronologies that correlate significantly with ocean variability and give insights to variables that influence rockfish growth. The contractor will deliver the following 1.) sectioning and ottolith age analysis for the target species2.) time series of growth for target species available for the FATE website 3.)spatial comparisons of master chronologies for yelloweye rockfish. A firm-fixed price order will be issued with performance period of one year. This notice may represent the only office notice. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100, 000.00. ****The Western Administrative Support Center Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov.
