- The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center intends to release request for proposal W91CRB-05-R-0015 on or about 3 June 2005 for engineering services to support the U.S. Army Evaluation Center (AEC). AEC supports t he Army Materiel acquisition force development processes by evaluating, and reporting operational and developmental testing of materiel in the hands of soldiers in a field environment, and by providing Program Managers with continuous system evaluation dur ing the development cycle. Contractor engineering support services will provide analytical support of evaluation and analysis including: assistance in evaluation and analysis planning, assistance in preparation and review of test and evaluation documentat ion, data reduction and analysis support on-site during testing, and assistance in preparing input to draft system assessment and system evaluation documents. Contractor support is needed in the following areas: Aviation; Air Defense; Close Combat; Comma nd, Control and Communications; Combat Support; Command Group; Fire Support; Information and Technology Directorate; Future Force; Integrated Logistics Support; Intelligence; Reliability and Maintainability; and Survivability (including Live fire). The so licitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis. The solicitation will result in four time and materials indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts for one year with seven one-year option periods. The official release of the Request for Propos al (RFP) will be posted on the internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site located at the following address: https://acquisition.army.mil. The on-line version of the RFP includes all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents.
