Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N61339-05-T-0074 is issued as a request for quotes and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03. This solicitation is not set-aside. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 541910 with a size standard of $6.0M. The NAVAIR-Orlando Training System Division has a requirement for consulting and technical support services to plan and execute an investment planning meeting. The contractor will assist the Government to prepare metrics that will be used during the meeting, provide and operate a polling system, and provide reports that summarizes procedures used and results. The investment planning meeting is planned for 20-22 June at Naval Station Great Lakes, Great Lakes, Illinois. Prior to the planning meeting, a preparation meeting will be held at NAVAIR Orlando in Orlando, Florida. Award will be evaluated under FAR Part 12 and 13 and made in the form of a Firm Fixed Price contract (FFP). The period of performance will be from contract award through 30 June 2005. The government reserves the right to make award without discussions and to make awards to multiple offerors in the event one offeror cannot meet the required throughput or multiple awards represent the best value to the Government, but also reserves the right to hold discussions, if deemed necessary. The following FAR/DFARS clauses apply to this acquisition and can be located at the following sites: http://www.arnet.gov/far or http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ . FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-5 ? Class Deviation applies, 52.232-36. DFARs 252.204-7004 Alt A, 252.212-7001, 252.243-7001. A completed copy of the following must be included with each quote: 52.212-3.
