- Description
- LAWRENCE LIVERMORE NATIONAL LABORATORY DEVELOPED END-USER SOFTWARE PACKAGES AVAILABLE FOR LICENSING Announcement: Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), operated by the University of California under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is offering numerous end-user software packages available for licensing to industry and academia. We have Ready-To-Sign End User licenses for the following software at discounted prices. These licenses involve standard terms and conditions. The discounted financial terms will only apply to those who sign and return the license "as is" to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Industrial Partnerships And Commercialization - Technology Transfer office. Current Packages Available for Licensing EQ3/6 - Software package for geochemical modeling of aqueous systems. NUFT - 3D multi-phase non-isothermal flow and transport model for both saturated and unsaturated simulations. SAC - General purpose interactive program designed for the study of seismic signals, especially timeseries data. NEC - Antenna modeling code for wire and surface antennas and scatterers. E3D - 4th order elastic finite-difference seismic wave propagation code. SafePatch - Automated analysis, notification, distribution, and installation of security patches and related software to network-based computer systems. CRYSFIND - CRYSFIND 4.1 is a crystal detection software that is intended to detect and localize crystals in black and white pictures. CRYSTOOL - CRYSTOOL 4.1 controls a liquid handling robot to generate randomized conditions for macromolecule crystallization screening. SOAR - SOAR (Stateless, One-pass, Adaptive Refinement) performs adaptive mesh refinement, view frustum culling, and rendering/triangle stripping in a single recursive pass over the visible and feature-rich areas of the height field. The result is an adaptive mesh that for each viewpoint is near minimal with respect to a user-selectable screen-space error tolerance. Computers for which the software is written: Silicon Graphics, Linux PC, Windows PC. zPicture - zPicture is a sequence alignment visualization tool for dynamically generating conservation profiles and identifying evolutionary conserved regions (ECRs) in genomic sequences. zPicture is highly flexible because critical parameters can be modified interactively, allowing users to differentially predict ECRs in comparisons of sequences of different phylogenetic distances and evolutionary rates. SPR Opt - SPR Opt (SNP and PCR-RFLP Optimization) software optimizes the selection of forensic markers to maximize information to discriminate sequences from the fewest assays, accepting whole or partial genome sequence data as input. Tools for the optimization of forensic typing using Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) and PCR-Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (RLFP) analysis across multiple isolate sequences of a species are included. The PCR-RFLP analysis includes prediction and selection of optimal primers and restriction enzymes to enable maximum isolate discrimination based on sequence information. The software is written 95% in PERL and 5% UNIX for UNIX and LINUX operating systems. Note: THIS IS NOT A PROCUREMENT. Companies and Academia interested in LLNL's End-User Software Available for Licensing should visit the IPAC Software website at http://www.llnl.gov/IPandC/technology/software/softwareforlicensing.php
