Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 41407-0002-6 for the provision of Burial Services for the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri. The contractor shall provide burial services for the USMCFP Springfield. It is estimated the contract will include local burial including casket, shipping, and cremation for approximately 50 deaths for the base year and for each of four (4)option years. The contract period shall consist of effective date of award through 12 months from effective date of award and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about June 10, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. The North American Industry Classification System is 812210. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated receipt of quotes is July 12, 2005. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contract for which they are eligible.
