Description

Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES (especially Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses) capable and interested in providing IRIS Urinalysis Workstation Maintenance at the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Orlando VA Outpatient Clinic (VAOPC) located at 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, Florida, 32803. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government (the Customer), the Contractor shall furnish complete IRIS Urinalysis Workstation Maintenance Services, which includes all parts, labor, travel and unlimited service calls to maintain equipment so that equipment meets or exceeds the manufacturer?s original performance specifications. The anticipated performance period is September 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006, with 4 twelve month renewal option periods. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code is 811219 and the size standard is $6.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exist in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is July 20, 2005. Please provide interest in this solicitation by responding to this announcement no later than 3:30 p.m. June 10, 2005. Please indicate business size, capability statement(s), and other pertinent information about your business. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS.
