Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES (especially Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses) capable and interested in providing Cystometer Urolab Maintenance at the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Orlando VA Outpatient Clinic (VAOPC) located at 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, FL 32803. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government (the Customer), the Contractor shall furnish complete maintenance, to include all parts, labor, travel and unlimited service calls to maintain the above mentioned equipment so that the equipment meets or exceeds the manufacturer?s original performance specifications. The Cystometer Urolab Equipment description is as follows: Cystometer Urolab, Model: Janus System III, Serial Number: 30386, PMI: 6515-8498, to include the following: MC301 ? Desktop 386-33; MC314 ? 4 MB Total RAM; MC321 ? Hard Drive TEAC 100MB; MC324 ? Keyboard with Trackball; MC329 ? Monitor, VGA 14? .28 Dot Pitch Color; MC331 ? Printer HP Paint Jet; M-40 ? Urolab Janus III Advanced; SA-1039 ? Patient Unit, Serial Number: 30354; 2105 ? Five Channel Recording; 2154 ? Uroflow; 2153A-1-1 ? EMG I; 2152-1 ? Pressure I; 2152-2 ? Pressure II; 2156 ? Infused Volume; 1309 ? EMG Audio Monitor, Serial Number: 30307. The anticipated performance period is September 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006, with 4 twelve month renewal option periods. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code is 811219 and the size standard is $6.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exist in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is July 20, 2005. Please provide interest in this solicitation by responding to this announcement no later than 3:30 p.m. June 10, 2005.
