- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.??GovWorks is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the US Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA) Pentagon Telecommunications Center (PTC). The PTC utilizes the Type 2 Cryptographic Support Server (T2CSS) board as the National Security Agency approved Enterprise Domain Public Key Infrastructure Encryption Token Device within numerous system platforms comprising the Defense Message System (DMS) Command and Control Messaging Infrastructure. Additional T2CSS boards are required to support ongoing requirements. The scope of work includes the procurement and delivery to the Government of the requested T2CSS boards, both of the standard eight (8) processor variety as well as the two (2) processor Mini board. Software associated with these boards shall also be considered as part of the deliverable. The vendor shall also provide the standard first year warranty maintenance for all delivered products. The vendor shall provide additional warranty coverage for all procured boards through an extended period of performance ending 31 December 2006. The total requirement shall be for thirty seven (37) eight processor boards and seven (7) 2 processor Mini boards. The vendor shall provide additional warranty coverage for all forty one (41) previously procured boards through an extended period of performance ending 31 December 2006. Below is a listing of the specific T2CSS board serial numbers and requested lengths of requested warranty extensions. The contractor shall be responsible for delivering all end items specified. The vendor shall coordinate and schedule delivery through the designated Government Contracting Officer?s Representative.
