- NSN 5855-01-381-6052, COMPASS ASSEMBLY, CAGE 80063 P/N A3187430, QTY 45512, and DEL 120. Inspection and acceptance (I/A) at Origin and FOB at Destination. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. See Note(s): 26. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil; 15 days after this notice is published in the FedBizOpps Requests for hard copies of this solicitation will not be accepted. Specifications, plan or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed Base year and (4) option years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive, technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: (0B107) INSIGHT TECHNOLOGY INC. P/N: A3187430, (51298) LITTON SYSTEMS INC. P/N: A3187430, and (13567) ITT INDUSTRIES INC. P/N: A3187430). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 7 JUNE 2005. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
