- WA RRP SAMO 2001(1), SOUTH WAHLUKE SLOPE ROADS, Saddle Mountain National Wildlife Refuge, Grant and Franklin Counties, Washington. BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION AS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. This work consists of 25.145 km minor grading, roadway reconditioning, placing aggregate base, installing new drainage. Work includes contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; temporary traffic control; 18 m soil erosion control devices; 3,500 cu m watering for dust control; removal of 1 pipe culvert; 60 cu m subexcavation; 13 km roadway obliteration; 60 cu m riprap; 31,500 t minor crushed aggregate; 68,500 sq m recycled aggregate course; 18 m culverts; 100m underdrains; 560 flaggers hours; 1 beaver pond leveler; and other items of work. Project is located approximately 20 km North of Richland, Washington. Work shall be completed by June 29, 2005. Estimated price range is between $500,000 to $1,000,000.
