- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for maintenance services in accordance with the format in FAR 13.3, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Request for quote (RFQ) DHQCSD05MPA0171 is for repair and preventive maintenance to minimize generator failure/downtime for the mission critical DISA PE datacenter to include the following systems: Detroit Diesel and Spectrum Generator, Generator & Engine Controls, Westinghouse Switchgear, Day Tank & Fuel Storage/Handling, All Ancillary & Accessories Equipment, Lubrication, Cooling, Ventilation & Exhaust, Starting Batteries & Charging, and Safety Shutdown & Alarm. (iii) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-03. (iv) The NAICS code is 423120, the size standard is 1000 employees, and the resultant contract will be 100% set-aside for small business. (v) Provide a price for each of the following four CLINs. (vi) CLIN 0001: 12 mo. Preventive maintenance for generators, batteries, and general service to include schedules and reporting. CLIN 0002: Non Emergency Service with next business day response. CLIN 0003: Emergency Service within 6 hour response time and CLIN 0004: Bench Stock of manufacturer recommended critical spare parts approved by the Government. (vii) Place of performance is an undisclosed location in Chambersburg, PA. Period of Performance is 1 June 2005 ? 31 May 2006 with four option years. (viii) FAR 52.246-1 applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on technically acceptable low offer.(ix) The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.203-3, 52.204-4, 52.213-4, 52.217-9, 52.219-6, 52.219-8, 52.219-14, 52.222-39, 52.222-42, 52.227-2, 52.232-19, 52.237-3, 52.242-13, 52.243-1 Alt 1, 52.244-6, 52.246-1, 52.246-25, 52.252-2, 52.252-6.(x) The following DFARS clauses apply to this acquisition: 252.204-7003, 252.204-7004 Alt A, 252.209-7004, 252.219-7011, 252.225-7012, 252.225-7016, 252.232-7003, 252.243-7001, 252.243-7002, 252.247-7023 Alt III (access to clauses can be made via http://FARSITE.HILL.AF.MIL).
