- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of NOAA Northwestern Hawaiian Islands (NWHI), Coral Reef Ecosystem located in Honolulu, HI has a requirement for a contractor to conduct an information needs assessment that evaluates the sources of data and data sets for the NWHI, create a map of data sets related to NWHI, determines reasonable methods and technologies that may be employed to manage this data and make it accessible for management and to make recommendations for utilizing and results of the findings. Evaluation will be made on these three (3) factors with an award to lowest price technically acceptable offer: 1. Contractor must demonstrate professional expertise in conducting similar types of data needs assessments as well as a successful track record of producing reports that will served pas t clientele. 2. Contractor must submit technical capabilities statement which summarizes their skills and qualifications, work samples and demonstrate their creative and technical proficiency and proposal that lays out a recommended strategy.3. Past Performance. A firm-fixed price order will be issued with performance period of seven months from date of issuance. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100, 000.00. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003.
