- This is not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5, but is a Market Survey to identify sources that posses the expertise, capabilities, and experience necessary to meet the Air Force requirements necessary for providing Manpower Support Services for the following job series: 2010 / Item Managers (IM) ? Wholesale and Retail; 301 / Support Equipment Managers; 1670 / Equipment Specialist; 1101 / Production Management Specialist (PMS); 346 / Logistics Managers; 8XX / Engineers (Electronics, Mechanical, Structural); 2001 / Provisioning; 5XX / Financial/Budget/Supply Management; 2005 / Purchase Request/MIPR Clerks; 301 / Supply Support; 1102 / Contract Specialists. The minimum experience level is GS-11/12 skill level or equivalent journeymen level of knowledge and or experience for the three Air Logistics Centers (WR-ALC, OO-ALC and OC-ALC). There is also the potential for up to the GS-13 skill level requirements at HQ AFMC, WPAFB. The estimated period of performance will be approximately three years, beginning in FY-06. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. Contractors/Institutions responding to this RFI are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged. The applicable NAICS Code is 561320 ($11.5M Average Annual Receipts) Responses to this survey are due prior to close of business Friday 17 June, 2005.
