Description

It is the Governments intent to acquire the following services: Publication of the Civilian Enterprise (CE) Guide and Map. This procurement is unrestricted. The solicitation, Request for Proposal, W9124P-05-R-0007 and contract award shall be conducted using requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation 360-1. The CE Guide will provide the Army information about the mission of their command; the availability of command, installation, and community services; local geography; historical background; and other command information and materials. Installation Maps are des igned to orient new arrivals or visitors. These publications will contain advertising that will be prepared and published under contract with commercial publishers. The right to sell and circulate advertising to the complete readership in the CE Map and Gu ide provides the publisher revenue to cover costs and earnings. The right to circulate these publications to the Army readership constitutes contractual consideration, instead of money to pay for these publications. The contract is for the 2006 edition, pl us options to renew the agreement for four (4) additional editions. Delivery date for the 2006 edition is on or about June 15, 2006. Award may be made without discussions; therefore each initial offer should contain the offerors best terms. The estimated r elease date of the RFP is June 24, 2005, with an estimated closing date of July 26, 2005.
