Description

Description: The National Park Service intends to issue a prospectus for a concession contract for lodging, food and beverages, retail, camping, and other services within Grand Teton National Park. The prospectus will be issued on June 1, 2005, and proposals are due by September 28, 2005 (by close-of-business, 4:00 p.m. MDT). The contract will offer commercial services at four locations within the park (Jenny Lake Area, Jackson Lake Lodge, Colter Bay Village and Gros Ventre Campground). The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing concessioner is not a Preferred Offeror for this contract. One contract will be issued for the above-listed services. The National Park Service will not maintain a mailing list for potential bidders, nor will it accept requests for prospectuses prior to formal issuance of the prospectus. Prospectus packages will be available by contacting Brenda Martinez, National Park Service, Intermountain Regional Office, P.O. Box 25287, Denver, Colorado 80225. Brenda Martinez can be contacted at (303) 969-2664. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $75 per copy if delivered via Federal Express or $65 per copy if picked up in person. Persons interested in obtaining a prospectus should mail or bring in person a check or money order (NO CASH SALES) made payable to the National Park Service. You must include a business address (no post office box) and telephone number to receive the prospectus via Federal Express. Persons wishing to pick up a prospectus in person can do so at the National Park Service, Division of Business Resources, Intermountain Region, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, CO during business hours of 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A formal site visit will not be conducted subsequent to the release of the prospectus. However, prospective offerors may contact Rebecca Rhea, Chief of Business Resources for Grand Teton National Park, at (307) 739-3434 in order to schedule a site visit within the first 60 days of the release of the prospectus.
