- Description
- This is a sources sought announcement. The Department of Defense, Defense Intelligence Agency, Virginia Contracting Office, is searching for experienced and qualified business concerns with an interest in providing Unattended Ground Sensor Systems equipment. The equipment capabilities include but is not limited to stand alone sensing (short range activity sensing) as well as performing tipping and cueing functions for electro optical (day and night ) imagers. This equipment must also have the capability for iridium satellite communications, Global Positioning System (GPS), still imagery capability to enable rapid recognition of potential targets i.e., personnel, light and heavy vehicles, in-field camera/imager visualization/aiming tool for quick setup/focus/pointing, remotely controlled pan/tilt/zoom, and operate with standard military/commercial primary and secondary battery power (e.g., solar-rechargeable, fuel cell, etc.) sources for up to 180 days. POTENTIAL SOURCES MUST SUBMIT INFORMATION THAT DEMONSTRATES THEIR CAPABILITY TO PROVIDE THIS EQUIPMENT. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR EXPERIENCED AND QUALIFIED SOURCES.
