H92239-05-T-0028? HMMWV Modifications for Assault Vehicle Q11. Where does the contractor get the info to submit his reps and certs as required? A11. You can go to the http://farsite.hill.af.mil and look in 52.212-3 to print out or there is a new website that requires your DUNS number and is located at http://orca.bpn.gov Q12. Will there be handles on the rear step platforms? A12. No Q13. Does the rear stpe platform need to be mouted high or low? A13. It needs to be reversible if possible so that the user can choose between a high and low position. Q14. Will ll roofs be removed and if so by whom? A14. Yes all roofs will be removed and it will be done by the contractor. Q15. Will grab handles be needed on each side of the roof frame? A15. Yes, three per side at a minimum. Q16. Will the original rear box mounts be in the back of the vehicle? A16. Yes Q17. Will the modifications require paint? A17. Yes, they should be sandy in color. No high gloss. CARC paint is not a requirement. Q18. What is the submission date of all quotes? A18. The no later than time is 2 June 05 at 12p.m.. Please read the solicitation H92239-05-T-0028 thouroughly. Q19. Are drawings required and if so what is the preference of style? A19. There is no required format. As long as we can understand for evaluation purposes and yes, drawings are required. Q20. Are reps and certs required? A20. Yes, everyone must submit there reps and certs as is always the case for combined synopsis/solicitations. Q21. What is required for submission? A21. A signed letter from an authorized rep from the company, reps and certs, drawings, acknowledgement of read amendments, project completion plan and documentation of past performance that relates to this type of work. Q22. How will the packages be evaluated? A22. Award will be made in terms of best value to the govt. The evaluation criteria to be used is; ?technical acceptability,? ?price,? and ?delivery? Q23. Is 20 June 05 the absolute final date fro required delivery? A23. At this time yes. I am still seeking flextime on this. Do not let this discourage your offer. Be honest and state what you think your realistic timeframe will be. Q24. What is to be modified or applied to this vehicle? A24. For uniformity of this requirement I will refer to this as a package. This package per vehicle will consist of; 1 HMWWV assault vehicle- 1a. tire rack w/tire mounted in rear of vehicle, 1b. adjustable front driver seat bracket, 1c. rear step platform, 1d. stowable side platforms, 1e. rear tire safety shields, 1f. rear ammo storage boxes mounts, 1g. swivel/detachable side pillar gun mounts that allow for elevation and 360 deg turning radius for an M249 or M240 machine gun of backseat passengers. 1h. rear gun mount for extreme rear corners of vehicle for M249/M240 machine gun, 1i. Rear passenger seats remounted to face outward, 1j. remount of air compressor and a/c unit to underneath of right rear passenger seat, 1k. modified detachable front bumper, 1l. antenna mount, 1m. removal of hard top roofs, 1n. no less than three top grab handles per side.
